Wildflower Guild Junior
Cotillion Program

The Junior Cotillion is a nonprofit program which operates under the direction of the Wildflower Guild.  Both the Junior Cotillion for middle school aged students and the Wildflower Guild Belle & Escort program for high school aged students function together to support the Central Texas Orchestral Society (CTOS).  The CTOS is the classical music arm of the Cultural Activities Center (CAC).   Your student’s participation and continued participation in the programs of the Wildflower Guild not only cover costs associated with the program’s dances, events and annual Wildflower Guild Ball, but also has provided a donation to CTOS annually and supported the CAC since 1992.
The Junior Cotillion program offers social and cultural opportunities with the goal of enhancing the students’ manners and social skills, offering instruction in various dance techniques, and providing opportunities to attend performances at the Cultural Activities Center. The Junior Cotillion also prepares students to enjoy involvement in the Wildflower Guild Belle & Escort program, which is offered to high-school students, ninth through eleventh grades.  All members of the Junior Cotillion are invited to three dances for each grade level. Two of the dances are usually themed and one is a more formal dance for sixth and seventh graders. The eighth graders enjoy a formal dinner-dance, which is the highlight of the Junior Cotillion experience. Etiquette instruction is offered for all student members during an orientation social

Junior Cotillion Registration

Registration opens annually around May through August prior to the cotillion season which runs alongside the school year. Cotillion events take place at the Cultural Activities Center in Temple.
